Mrs. Carol Jean (Anderson) Thompson, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was 82. Born on July 16, 1932, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of the now late George Dallas and Ruth Evangeline (Perrine) Anderson.

On Nov. 29, 1958, she was married to Arthur Junior Thompson in Lebanon. Mr. Thompson passed away March 8, 2003.

Carol graduated from Lebanon High School in 1951. She had spent her life as a loving homemaker. She enjoyed her family, reading, painting, traveling, old movies, and meeting friends for coffee almost daily.

Survivors include son, Rodney L. Thompson of Lebanon; two granddaughters, Nicole M. (fiancé, Nicholas Burkett) Thompson of Lebanon and Lindsay R. (Daniel) Gale of Colorado Springs, Colo.; great-granddaughter, Margot H. Burkett; sister, Lois E. (Charles) Warmoth of Lebanon; and brother, Robert A. Anderson of Lebanon.

Visitation is 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 18, at the mortuary. Entombment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
