Madeline Eleanor Johnston Perham 67. Died unexpectedly 8-10-1973 at a local hospital. She was born in Perham 6-21-1906 the daughter of Fred and Crissie (Carr) Blackstone. She attended Perham and Washburn schools and graduated from Presque Isle Normal School. She was married 6-21-1929 to Fred Johnston, who survives her. Other survivors include a son, Bryce of Perham, 2 daughters, Mrs. Wilson (Carol) Lovely of Caribou and Mrs. Curtis (Judy) Lunney of Westfield, a brother, Maxwell Blackstone of Presque Isle, a sister, Mrs. Mrs. Garfield (Dorothy) Wardwell of Perham and 11 children. Burial Fairview cemetery.
