Lucy Lee Laird, 83, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, died March 12, 2013 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born January 12, 1930 at Japton, Arkansas, the daughter of Ernest C. and Nomie Patrick Byford. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Comfort Church of Christ. She was the widow of Paul Donald Laird who preceded her in death on July 7, 2007. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Darlene and Eugene Gooding and Paulene Reed, all of Fayetteville, Arkansas; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Friday, March 15, in chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Nathan Jorgenson, Minister and Huston Givens officiating. Interment will be in the Ledbetter Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Michael Reed, Ronnie Gooding, Jimmy Gooding, James Johnson, Taylor Stilwell and Craig Stilwell. Honorary pallbearers will be: Floyd Reynolds and Jimmy Reynolds. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
