William "Billy" Benjamin Harrison was the young son of Robert and Martha Harrison. Aged 6 years, 11 months and 15 days, so he was born on 6 Jun 1854.

His father died in 1858.

His widowed mother resided with siblings and her children. On the 1860 Dist. 2, Calvert Co., MD census, I found school teacher William Harrison, 35; proprietor Martha Harrison, 28, with $12K in real estate and $38,200 in personal property; farmer and planter C R Harrison, 36; (her children with Robert:) Frank Harrison, 8; Sallie Harrison, 7; WILLIAM Harrison, 6; Robert Harrison, 2; C D Harrison, 37; seamtress M E Harrison, 20 and George Harrison, 6/12, all MD born. (brothers: Clement Daniel, Charles Robert and William, unknown: Mary E (buried at All Saints).
