Winifred A. Humphrey, 80, of Broken Bow died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at Jennie Melham Hospital in Broken Bow.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Govier Brothers Mortuary chapel in Broken Bow. The Rev. Grant Agler will officiate. Burial will be in Cliff Cemetery west of Merna.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Humphrey was born Feb. 9, 1922, at Texhoma, Texas, to Homer and Beatrice (Gorman) Fleming. She was a 1940 graduate of Texhoma High School.
She married Dean Humphrey on June 5, 1945, in San Diego. They had recently moved to Broken Bow to be near their daughter.
Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, George and Alene Humphrey of Norris, Tenn.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Andie and Darrell Schmidt of Merna and Deana and Jim Agler of Parson, Kan.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Arlene Boothby of Texhoma, Okla.
