26 Dec 1938: John A. Arnold, of 128 East Cumberland Street, died at 1:00 o'clock this afternoon at his home. He had been ill for several weeks, but a few day ago he contracted pneumonia, and the malady was too much for his weakened condition. He was a carpenter by trade, and for twenty years had been employed by the Reading Railroad Co. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Lebanon Lodge of Moose. He leaves his wife, the former Edna Moyer; two sons, Eugene, a clerk at the First National Bank; and Richard, also of Lebanon; a brother, Ambrose; and two sisters, Mrs. Regina Fortna; and Mrs. Margie Folmer, all of Lebanon. There are also two grandchildren. [Lebanon Daily News]
