Mrs. Codie Mae Gallimore, 75, died November 28, at the South Sunflower County Hospital. She had lived at 303 Chapman Street for the last six years and was a native of Martin, Tennessee. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Gallimore was the widow of Robert E. Lee Gallimore. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Jack Harper, Jr., Indianola and a brother, Joe Freeman of Martin, Tennessee, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Services were held on Wednesday, November 29, at 2:30 at the Church of Christ on Highway 82, with the Rev. Jimmy Wisdom officiating, assisted by the Rev. J.C. Hubbard. Interment was in City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert Hall, Carl Spencer, Jay Henley, Tracy Skelton, Virgil Redd, and James Bradshaw.
