Joseph J. Hart nett, 71, died Thursday, June 15, 2006, at Cape Canaver al Hospital. A US Navy vet eran and a civil engineer, he re tired as Chief of Range Facilities at Patrick Air Force Base, after over 30 years of civil service. A member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, he served on the Board of Directors of Catho lic Charities. Joe enjoyed his family, was an avid golfer and accomplished bridge player. His life reflected his deep faith and love for oth ers. He was a mentor and role model for all who knew him and always helped those in need. This patriarch will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He leaves his wife of 48 years, Ann Hartnett; eight chil dren; sister, Delores Partsch; and twenty three grandchildren. A memorial service, to cele brate the life of Joe Hartnett, and reception, will be at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Merritt Island, on Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 11 a.m. Donations, in his memory, may be made to Candlelighters of Brevard, PO Box 1353, Mel bourne FL 32902.
