Durand--Antonia M. KONECNY, 83, died today at Owosso Memorial Hospital after a year of failing health.
Mrs. KONECNY, who resided at 2910 Reed Rd., Durand, had lived in the Durand area 60 years.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Durand, with Father Michael BED--RSK-- officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon.
The body will rest at Bellows Funeral Home, Durand, after 2 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rosary to be said 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. KONECNY was born in Czechoslovakia Jan. 10[sic], 1893, and married Fred J. KONECNY in Owosso Nov. 12, 1913. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Durand.
Mrs. KONECNY is survived by sons Jerry of Durand, Benny F. of Ashley and Martin of Corunna; daughters Mrs. John SEDLAK of Grand Blanc and Mrs. E.L. BENJAMIN of Clio; 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
