The daughter of Jennus and Iva (Lawler) Reische, she married Paul E. Acker on July 15, 1939 in Palmyra, MO. He died April 12, 1988. Surviving are three daughters, eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, two sisters, Susan Maxine Bartlow and Ruby Thompson; and one brother, Jennus Reische, Jr. A grandson Richard Todd Greene, and a brother, Bill Reische, preceded her in death. Burial will be in the Rushville City Cemetery. From the Peoria Journal Star, May 14, 2003.
