Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the Glenwood Baptist Church for James B. Bridges, 32, of Glenwood, who died Wednesday in the Talmadge Memorial Hospital in Augusta.The Rev. C.W. Hawkins and The Rev. Kell will officiate, and burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery with Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia in charge of arrangements.Mr. Bridges was a lifelong resident of Glenwood and a member of the Glenwood Baptist Church. He was employed by the Ailey Manufacturing Co.Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Katie Lumley: a son, James Gary Bridges; one daughter, Miss Lillian Theresa Bridges; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marcus D. Bridges, and his grandmother, Mrs. Annie Bridges, all of Glenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Ann Bailey of Iowa and Mrs. Anita Perkins of Germany, and four brothers, Oscar Bridges of Bakersfield, California, Johnny Bridges, of Dalton, Wayne Bridges and T.M. Bridges of Glenwood.
