Ronnie worked in construction as a builder and heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the American Legion in Jackson and a former member of the Henderson Elks Lodge. He enjoyed working and dancing. He had operated Ronnie's Family Dance near Finger for several years. He also operated Ronnie's Steakhouse and Ronnie Anderson Backhoe and Dozier Service. He enjoyed all kinds of car races and also enjoyed auctions.
