Honey Grove (Special)--George Bagby Baker died suddenly at 7:30 a.m. Friday at his home after a brief illness.

Conducted by the Rev. Edgar H. Graham, the pastor, funeral service was held at the Main Street Presbyterian Church, Cooper's Funeral Home made interment in Oakwood Cemetery here.

Mr. Baker was born April 20, 1870, and was married December 20, 1894 to Miss Bell B. Gray who survives. He leaves also two children, Mrs. Eli J. Covington here and Robert E. Baker of Commerce; five grandchildren; a brother, Tom M. Baker of Cumby and a sister, Mrs. Ellen Gordon of Commerce.
