Edward Paul Anderson 74 of Peebles went to be with the Lord 6:15 pm Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at his home. He was born June 24, 1935 in Highland County the son of the late George Russ and Callie Mae (Valentine) Anderson. On December 11, 1955 he married the former Mamie Jay Sapp who preceded him in death January 25, 2004.

Eddie is survived by 3 children, Pamela Sue (Ron) Barnett and Paul Jeffery (Sandy) Anderson both of Peebles and Matthew George Anderson of Bainbridge; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Georgia Mae Anderson, Darlene (Mike) Schreck and Evelyn Humphries all of Cynthiana and Naomi Grooms of Lathem. In addition to his parents and wife a brother Keith Anderson preceded him in death.

Eddie had been a Perry Township Trustee for 16 years and he attended the Cynthiana Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Cynthiana Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Terry Lawson and Rev. Homer Swearingen officiating. Burial will follow in the Cynthiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home, Bainbridge.

Services were entrusted to Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge, Ohio.
