EAST PEORIA - Austin C. Noble, 25, of East Peoria, Ill., passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015, at his home. Austin was born Aug. 10, 1989, in Madisonville, Ky., to Charles and Kelli Hammond Noble. Austin graduated from Lowpoint-Washburn High School in 2007. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, deploying to Afghanistan from 2009-2010. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant in 2014. In 2012, he graduated from Eureka College with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. Austin worked as a shift manager at Metamora IGA and also as a security guard for Signal 88, before becoming a reactor operator at Ingredion Inc. from 2013 to the present.Austin was a fun-loving, passionate son, brother, friend and boyfriend who loved following his favorite sports teams, the Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks. He also enjoyed biking and participating in CrossFit. He took enormous pride as a new homeowner and enjoyed woodworking and doing projects around his house. He loved music, concert going, collecting movies and playing video games. Austin's other hobbies included mythology, astronomy and creative writing. He had an appreciation for tattoos and FireHouse Pizza.He is survived by his mother, Kelli of Washburn; his father, Chuck of Corvallis, Mont.; his twin brother, Logan of Deer Creek; his sister, Hayden of Washburn; his paternal grandfather, Charles (Carol) Noble Sr. of Burney, Calif.; and his paternal grandmother, Judith (Bob) Fox of Hamilton, Mont. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Mercedes Lauzon of East Peoria; and his cat, Rocket Dog. Austin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bernard and Marion Hammond.A time to celebrate Austin's life will be Thursday, May 21, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home in Germantown Hills.
