Son of Isaac Edward and Cletis Zoe McGaughey Wiatt.
Married Carolyn McKinney. She survives.
Also surviving are daughters LeeAnn (Clint) Williams and Lynette (Rob) Hamer; 3 grandchildren; brothers Larry and Darrell Wiatt and their families; sisters-in-law Sheila McKinney, Cathy King and Tammy Butler and their families; and his mother-in-law Betty McKinney.

1963 graduate of Waveland High School, 1967 graduate of University of Indianapolis and received a master's degree from IUPUI Indianapolis.

He started his teaching career in 1967 at Waveland High School, moved with the consolidation to Southmont High School in 1971 and retired from Southmont High School in 2010. He was awarded the 1997 South Montgomery Schools Teacher of Excellence Award and 2011 South Montgomery Schools Hall of Fame Award.

He also had a passion for farming and was co-owner of Wiatt Seed Service for 35-plus years.

He was deacon and former member of Freedom Baptist Church and member of First Baptist Church in Crawfordsville.

Services 11am Thursday, May 21 at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland with Pastor David Culley officiating. Visitation 4-8pm Wednesday.

Memorials donations to the Glenn Wiatt Memorial Scholarship Fund at any Tri-County Bank office.
