Carol Anita Tyner, age 61, of Elgin, died Friday, September 6, 2002 at Firwood Health Care Center in Batavia. She was born September 25, 1940 in Aurora, IL. Anyone that had a chance to know Carol knows that she will be very well missed.
She is survived by her parents, Alfred and Beatrice Bryant of Batavia; her daughter, Teresa Renee Tyner of Houston, TX; her son, Brett Wade Tyner of St. Charles; two grandchildren, Melissa Lane Tyner and Mason James Tyner; her sister, Darlene Stewart of Batavia; her brother, William Bryant of Serena, IL; also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her son Ricky Lane Tyner.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at the Yurs Wittenburg Funeral Home, 1771 W. State St. (Rt. 38), Geneva. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9:00PM Monday at the Yurs Wittenburg Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
