Jean Hawley, age 85, went to be with the Lord May 17, 2015.

Jean was born in El Paso, Texas on July 22, 1929 to Annie and Paul Hendrick. She was the youngest of 9 children.

She married Paul House and had two children, Sam and Susan.

Jean served as Branch Manager for Mutual Savings and Loan in El Paso.

Later, she married Wayne Hawley and moved to San Antonio.

Jean served as Savings Officer for Travis Savings and Loan for several years. In the late seventies, she joined the family business, Wayne's Bowling Supply. She worked there for over 40 years.

Jean was an accomplished bowler and enjoyed trips to their coast house where she was an avid fisherman.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne, children Sam House (wife Beth) and daughter Susan House. Jean had 2 grandsons, Scott House (wife Kim) and Brad House. Other family included great grandchildren Braedon, Coleman, Ellison, Jackson and Thatcher, nephew Willie Yager(wife Connie) and Shannan House.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00, Thursday, May 21 at Mission Park South. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
