Ginger was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She retired from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a telephone operator, a job she loved. She also enjoyed family time and all the family trips.
Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Beth Campbell and her sister, Marjorie Jo Santarpia.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Aafedt; her children, John (Barbara) Aafedt, Cindy Aafedt, Susan (Ray) Bartlett, Eric (Debbie) Aafedt; grandchildren, Jad and Raven Abousoud, Jinny and David Dvorak, Whitney and David Moore, Hillary Aafedt, Laura England Witt and Ben and Tiffany Parrish; and great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Madden and Jordan.
