James D. Leffler, 41, began his life in Heaven Sun day, June 18, 2006, leaving from Cape Canaveral Hos pital, the same hospital in which he was born. Jim could not have left on a more special day; being a father was one of the most important things in his life. Jim was born 13 March 1965, played football at Merritt Island High School, held a black belt in Kenpo and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in electrical engineering technology. He was employed by the Boeing Com pany as a software engineer. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Melissa; daughters, Jessica and Tara; son, Zachary; mother, Judie; brother, Clif, his wife, Joy, and children, Jaime and Michael; grandparents, Jerome and Mary Browne; and extended Leffler family. Jim was quick with his wit, strong with his will, and gener ous with his heart. He lived his faith and as a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, he served on the building com mittee and also as a Bible study leader. A Celebration of Jims Life will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 65 Needle Blvd, Merritt Island, Saturday, 24 June, beginning at 1 p.m., with a BBQ luncheon immedi ately following in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please celebrate Jims faith and unique spirit with a memorial gift to the Arnold Palmer Hospital Foundation, 3160 Southgate Commerce Blvd, Suite 50, Orlando, FL 32806, or by calling Dana at (321) 841-8614.
