Funeral for Nettie G. Amend, 89, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Portland Memorial. She died Wednesday at her home, 1737 N.E. Broadway.
Mrs. Amend had lived in Portland the last 66 years and was well known for her hobby of making earrings. She was a native of Mendon, Mich.
Survivors include a son, Ted Ludlam, Sebastopol, Cal.; a daughter, Beth Cole, Portland; a grandson, and two great-grandchildren.
