Woman Born In Mid-Atlantic Dies In A Wichita Hospital

Death called Mrs. Christina Albott, 62, wife and mother who for the past quarter century has been a resident at Butler county, at a local hospital at 10 a.m., Sunday. Death followed an operation.

Mrs. Albott was born in mid-Atlantic while her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Dagel, were en route from their former home in Germany to this country. It required three months to make the trip, in a sailboat. Mrs. Albott was born on September 1, 1861. Her first home was in Jersey City. With her parents she moved to Logan county, Ill., and then to Stanton County, Kans. About 25 years ago she moved to Butler county. Her home was six miles south of Andover.

Mrs. Albott is survived by her husband, W.S. Albott; two sons, Leonard and Charles Albott of Augusta; three daughters, Mrs. D.J. Cook, Harding, Mont., Mrs. C.P. Marvin, 446 Ellis Avenue and Miss Bessie Albott, Wichita; two brothers, J.H. Dagel, Derby and William Dagel, Rose Hill, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Robinson, Wichita.

The City Undertaking Co., is in charge.
