Loy Delton "Curly" Ware

Loy Delton "Curly" Ware, age 81, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.

As per his wishes, his body will be cremated. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Loy was born on June 4, 1933 in Palava, Texas to Richard Hamilton and Lorena Bell (Evans) Ware. He worked for Western Electric Bell Telephone as an electrician before retiring.

He is survived by three sons, Richard "Ric" Ware of Austin, Texas, Carl Sparks of Trent, Texas and Randy Sparks and wife Janell of Sonora, Texas; two daughters, Linda Jo Ann Ware and wife Carol of Lexington, Oklahoma and Jamie Gray and partner J.B. Boudreau of Trent, Texas; one brother, Larry Dean Ware of Sweetwater, Texas; one sister, Linda K. Hillyer of Sweetwater, Texas; grandchildren, Heather Hurtado and husband J.R., Shambra Klaus, Shovawna Norris, Jason Maxwell, Paige Maxwell, Joshua Dean Ware, Lavada Weaver and husband David, Dawn Craumer, Jeremy Sparks and Holly Sparks; and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his life partner of 39 years, Martha Collett of Sweetwater, Texas and great-granddaughter, Rachael Elizabeth Sparks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Lorena Ware; and daughter, Diane Ware.

The family wishes to thank everyone at the Sweetwater Healthcare Center and everyone connected with Hendrick Hospice for taking such wonderful and loving care of Curly.
