Ann was a friend of mine for over 30 years. We hadn't seen each other for twenty of those years but had just been reacquainted again the last two months of her life. She had lost her dear friend, Donna, and was so sad, that I went down south to visit her. Because of the miraculous timing of that last trip, I got the chance to talk with my sister, Chris, one last time before she died. Because of my health it had been years since I had gone to my hometown, where my sister still lived. I had planned to take my sister out to lunch if I felt good and had the time, but while down there, found out that my sister had entered ICU and was on life support. Had I not been down there visiting my friend Ann, I wouldn't have had that chance to talk to my sister that one last time.
My friend, Ann, was a nurse and had been a home care worker since I had met her all those years ago.
Ann reminded me how to put a hook on my fishing line. We enjoyed fishing together many times. She took me out in her boat one time, and we had a blast. We hung out a lot back then. One of my fondest memories was when we were in a mild hurricane together, hanging out, eating and taping the windows...like it would help. We had fun back then, everyday we were together. Her little girl, Theresa, was 3 years old then, and is now 32. When you come here to leave a token, please pray for her. She's a hard working young woman who made her mom proud. Her dad is very ill, and I would love if you prayed for him, as well. I will add more to her bio soon. Thanks again for visiting and remembering her.
