Young died Monday in DeKalb General Hospital, Smithville, Tenn.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Loretta Jones Young; a daughter, Mrs. Walter W. Anderson, Murfreesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Cynthia Henson, Lexington, Ky., Mrs. Dovie Youngblood, and Mrs. Eliza Youngblood, Coolidge, Tex.; four brothers, Clark Young and Frank Young , Woodbury, Luther Young , McMinnville, and Noah Young, Earlington Ky., and seven grandchildren
