Mrs. Ella M. Grossman, for a half century a resident of Lakewood, died in her home, 1458 Roycroft Avenue.
She was born in Pomeroy, O., 73 years ago and was married there to Joseph A. Grossman. The couple moved to Lakewood soon after their marriage.
For about a quarter century Mr. Grossman was engineer at Lakewood High School. He died in 1945.
Mrs Grossman was long a member of Christ Evangelical and Reformed Church and active in its Ladies Aid Society and other women's groups.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs Elizabeth Yant of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Dorothy Evans of Cleveland and a son, John J. Grossman of Columbus.
Sevices will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Christ Church. Burial will be in Lakewood Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Daniels Funeral Home, 15800 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, until 11 a.m. Monday.
