Jacques Jules "Jack" Delpy was the third son born to Maria and Jules. He was born at the Delpy family home in Vista on July 5, 1902 and except for the times he was away at school or serving in World War II, he lived in Vista. He was one of Vista's earliest postmasters. Founded the first Chysler-Plymouth dealership in Vista, retiring 1956. He was a Life Member of Vista Elks Lodge # 1968. A long-time bachelor, Jack married Alice Rathner in 1953. He died March 8, 1980. He was survived by his wife Alice, son James Harrison "Jim", and daughters Jacqueline Cotton and Lisa Neirotti
