He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late David Franklin Park and Minnie G. Burns Park Overholt. He retired from Keene Corp., formerly Penn Metal, Vienna. He was amember of Vienna Baptist Church and Vienna Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maleta M. Jarvis Parks; one daughter; two infant sons; two sisters; and three brothers.
Services were held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Rev. Nathan E. Williams officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Williamstown.
