Donald E. McClelland, 71, of Avon, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015. He was born October 21, 1943 to the late John F. and Ione (Hurin) McClelland in Lebanon, IN. He was a 1961 graduate of Avon High School. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended Porter Business College and Ball State University. Prior to his retirement in 2003, Don worked 35 years for Consolidated Rail Corporation and its predecessors, and was an independent real estate appraiser and broker. He is survived by his daughters, Audra L. Vanderbush and Alicia K. Murphy; a son, Luke C. McClelland; two sisters, Marilyn M. Depasse and Carolyn Hunt; a brother, John M. "Mike" McClelland; and 6 grandchildren.
