Bessie Corbin Talbot, 91, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, peacefully passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Celebration of life: Will be held at noon Wednesday, May 27, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Bessie was born Jan. 3, 1924, in Hampton, Va., to Robert Elliott and Estelle White Elliott. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary "Mimi" Quarles. Survivors: Daughters, Gloria Taylor and her husband, Fred, Patricia Green and her husband, Edward, and Marsha Strong and her husband, Roderick; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her 102-year-old sister, Rose O'Neil; son-in-law, Michael Quarles; and many other loving family members and friends. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation for the acts of kindness shown during her illness and in our time of bereavement.
