Mrs. Minnie Bliss, aged 92 years passed away in the Glenmore Auxiliary Hospital after a lengthy illness. A resident of Calgary for many years, Mrs. Bliss is survived by one daughter and three sons. She also leaves eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Thornton and Mrs. Muriel Skinner of Edmonton, and Mrs. Maud Fletcher of Ontario.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter F. Bliss in 1972.
Born in Clinton Falls, Minnesota, Mrs. Bliss moved to Edmonton with her family in the early 1900's. Married in 1912, she and her husband lived in Olds and Edmonton before moving to Calgary in 1928. Mrs. Bliss was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Calgary.
