PRATTVILLE | Alan Goodman Koch, age 77, of Prattville, passed away May 22, 2015, at home. A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at B'nai_Jeshur Jewish Cemetery in Demopolis, Ala., with The Reverend Maurice L. Goldsmith, D.D. officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jack L. Koch.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Kidd Koch; sons, Derek Enslen (Shea) of Helena and Alan Enslen (Melissa) of Vestavia; and four grandchildren, Catherine Enslen, Sarah Enslen, Lindsey Enslen and Wilson Enslen.
Mr. Koch was born in Decatur, on March 25, 1938, to the late Jacob and Hazel Goodman Koch.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorials be made in Mr. Koch's memory to the cemetery fund.

Alan Koch was a Major League Baseball player from 1963 through 1964. He was a pitcher for the Detroit Tigers and the Washington Senators.
