Daisy Joiner Ross, 61, of Ocilla, Georgia, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015, at Irwin County Hospital in Ocilla, Georgia. She was born November 1, 1953, in Crawfordville, Florida to the late Charles Huey and Sarah Hardy Joiner.
Mrs. Ross lived in the Ocilla most of her life. She was a homemaker and a business owner. Along with her late husband, she owned/operated Rite-Way Trucking. She loved spending time at the beach and enjoyed being with her family. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivor's include:
Three children: Randall McCranie & Sandy of Ocilla, Jerry Darrin Ross of Ocilla and Dana Herrington & Jason of Ocilla.
Two Step-sons: Damon Keith Ross & Janet of Brunswick and Daniel Philip Ross & Msrlo of Douglas.
Seventeen grandchildren
Two great-grandchildren.
Siblings: Gary W. Joiner of Newport Richey, Florida.
Johnny & Shannon Joiner of Crawfordville, Florida.
Henry & Sherry Joiner of Wray.
Sarah Brooks of Ocilla.
Jessica & Jeff Gaillard of Fitzgerald.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Damon Cecil Ross and four brothers: Charles Joiner, George Joiner, Harry Joiner, and Robert Joiner
Funeral services were held 2 PM Friday May 29. The interment was private.
