Gary D. Martel, 46, of Woodstock Ave., Putnam, died unexpectedly, Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. He was born July 21, 1963 in Putnam, son of Elizabeth (Aubin) Martel and the late Delphis Martel, Sr. He made his home in Putnam most of his life. He was a truck driver for the Fairview Farm in Woodstock. Gary's hobbies and likes were Monster trucks, off-roading, hot rods and fixing up cars. He attended Woodstock Grammar School and graduated from Ellis Technical School, Danielson in 1981 as a mechanic. In addition to his mother, he leaves his companion of 15 years: Kathleen Dunn; daughters: Jacqueline Martel of Danielson; Jennifer Provost of Dayville; his siblings: Joseph Martel, Norman Martel, Roger Martel all of Woodstock; Robert Martel of Garland, TX, Joann Martel of Putnam; Betty Brison of Dayville; granddaughters: Madilyn and Kaelyn Provost. He was predeceased by brothers: Ronald and Delphis, Jr. and father Delphis, Sr.
