Dorothy J. McGrath, age 91, passed away peacefully at The Hospice of Dayton on Friday, May 22, 2015. Dorothy was born in Logansport, IN to the late Henry and Gladys Schiele on June 25, 1923. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Thomas P. McGrath; grandson, Michael Jacob McGrath; siblings: Betty, Donald, and Norma.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Bridget (Doug) Kline, Patrick (Deborah) McGrath, John (Deanna) McGrath, and the always punctual Mary (Thomas) Larson; grandchildren: Kathy Klein, Tom McGrath, Kristen Barnett, Patricia McGrath-Dhonau, Christopher McGrath, Sean McGrath; nine beautiful great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Hensel, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy enjoyed her family, nature, and her cat, Betty (who needs a good home).

A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd.) on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. following a visitation from 10:00 – 11:00. Burial to follow at Highland Cemetery.
