Fredericksburg, Texas-Martin Henry Batchelder passed away Nov. 14, 1990, in Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg at the age of 75. His funeral service will be held today at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church in Fredericksburg. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Priscilla of Fredericksburg; five daughters; Becky Applebee of Fairbanks, Alas.; Jean Ledoux of Farmingham, Mass.; Mary Detoma of Ashland, Mass.; Faith Marchessault of Tallahassee, Fla.; and Sarah Batchelder of Osceola, Ind.; eight sons: Peter of Shelburne, Vt.; Ben of Derby, Vt.; Bruce of Alburg, Vt.; Patrick of Kamuele, Hawaii; Mark of Alburg Springs, Vt.; Paul from New Caney, Texas; John of Houma, La.; and 42 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
