Andrea L. Hodgkins, 55, died in a fire at her Peoria home Friday, Jan. 1, 1999.
Born Aug. 27, 1943, in Joliet to Andrew and Vera Zuelke Sowa, she married Charles E. Hodgkins on Nov. 15, 1968, in Peoria. He also died in the fire.
Surviving are her mother, Vera Wagner; one son, Gary Miller; three daughters, Micki Miller, and Stacy Hodgkins, and Mrs. Mark (Amy) Vonachen; two sisters, Mary Beth Bailey and Lynn Cassano; one brother, Thomas Sowa.
One brother preceded her in death. One granddaughter also died in the fire.
She was a supervisor at Vanucchi's Restaurant in Peoria.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
