Beatrice Loraine “Davie” Jack Bacorn, 72, of Westover, passed away at Wheeling Hospital on May 25, 2015. Davie was born in Aliquippa, PA on December 28, 1942, to Thomas and Bertha M. Robbins Jenkins, and was adopted and raised by William and Mildred Jack following the death of her mother.

Davie was a homemaker and cared deeply for the needs of her family. She was a Methodist by faith and enjoyed karaoke, playing games on the computer, and gardening.

Davie is survived by her daughters, Terresa “Terri” DeMent and her husband Ray of Granville, Robin Bacorn of Westover, and Wendy Judy and her husband Lee of Westover; her son Robert “Bobby” Bacorn and his wife Amy of Morgantown; her longtime companion Art McDonald; grandchildren Rob DeMent, Chris DeMent and his fiancée Brittney Walls, and Madalyn Judy, sisters Deloris “Tootsie” Riley, Mary Ellen Lynch and her husband Adam, Ruth DeVincent, Barbara Reynolds, and Janice Petitte and her husband George; and her fur babies Punkin, Casey, and Zoey.

In addition to her parents, Davie was preceded in death by her sisters Bertie Means, Midge Courtney, Gloria Jenkins; and a half-brother Tommy David Jenkins.

Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 27th from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 11 am with Pastor Garrett Howard officiating. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com.
