The funeral for Pauline Spitzer 91, Sykeston, N.D., will be at 2 Monday in Cathay (ND) Baptist Church. Visitation will be from noon to 8:30 today, and from 9 to noon Monday in Evans Funeral Home, Carrington, N.D., and one hour before services in the church. He (sic) died Friday.

Pauline Aichele was born May 6, 1898, in Romania. She came to the United States in 1913 with her parents. They settled in Tuttle, N.D. She married Ferdinand Spitzer Dec 2, 1919, in Kief, ND. They lived in Kief for a time, and moved to Carrington in 1925. They farmed in the Woodworth, N.D., area, moving to Sykeston in 1936. They retired in 1946. He died in 1965. She became a resident of Golden Acres Manor, Carrington, in 1981.

She is survived by three sons Ferdinand and Bert, both Clinton, Iowa, and Arnold, Fulton, Ill., three daughters, Alma (Mrs. Nick) Richter and Leona Richter, both Sykeston, and Laura (Mrs. Sylvester) Richter, Clinton; two brothers, Henry, Jamestown, N.D.; and Adam, Palermo, Calif; a sister Elizabeth Rath, Tuttle; 26 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
