She was a member of Ruhama Baptist Church and active in Sunday School. She was a member of Roebuck Springs Garden Club and retired form Birmingham Realty. She was a member of Ruhama Baptist Church W.M.U.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held Saturday from 1:00-2:00. Funeral service at Roebuck Chapel will be held Saturday, May 26, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Lamar Lyons officiating. Burial at Elmwood.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Kate Florence. Survivors: nephews, George Donald Florence of Birmingham and Richard Gene Florence of Grayton Beach, Florida. Ridout's Roebuck Chapel is directing.
