Gregory Neil Apgar, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 12, 2014. His loving wife, Kimberly Apgar, was by his side when he peacefully passed away at home in Dauphin.
He was born October 3, 1952 in Camp Hill to the late David R. and Esther (Musser) Apgar. He graduated from Camp Hill High School and Lock Haven College.
In addition to his loving wife, Kimberly, he is survived by 4 loving and caring daughters, Christina, Sarah, Angela, and Alisha; 2 loved grandchildren, William and Isabella whom brought such joy and laughter to his life; his brother, David Apgar and his wife Carol. He is also survived by Brian, Gregory, Nathan, and Nicole.
He was a proud member of Harrisburg First Assembly of God Church where he loved serving the Lord and being dedicated to the Royal Rangers. He was a former volunteer firefighter in Camp Hill. He loved hunting, fishing, outdoors, football “Go Ravens!” and spending quality time with his family.
He retired as the former owner of Nathan’s Café in Enola.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 5pm at Harrisburg First Assembly of God, 4100 N. Progress Ave., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to the church to support Royal Rangers.
