Yesterday, the 17th inst., were interred the mortal remains of the wife of the Rev. Dr. Jenkins, many years the respected pastor of the Episcopal congregation in this city. This excellent and lamented lady was followed to her last home by numerous sorrowing relations and family connections, and by a large number of persons of all classes and denominations, anxious to testify their grateful recollections of one who, for many years had been the conspicuous, yet humble, distributor of Christian benevolence and charity, to the sick and necessitions of all classes of our population. Mrs. Jenkins died on the 14th inst., aged 57. Her disease, which terminated her useful career, was Pulmonary Hemmorage.
