Dr. Adrian Griffith Back, Sr., retired Hodgenville dentist and farmer, died Sunday at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, where he had been a patient since Saturday. He was 74 years of age. He was a veteran of WW I. Surviving are one daughter, Ursa Linn Coleman, of Stamford, Conn.; two sons, A. G. Back, Jr., and Dr. O. Kent Back, both of this city; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Hargis, of Owensboro, Ky.; Mrs. Leila Sandusky, of Lexington, Ky., and Mrs. Lola Drake, of Orlando, Fla., and three brothers, Martin and Tarvin Back, both of Monticello, Ky., and Hayden Back, of Moline, Ill. Funeral services were held at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Chapel at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home followed by interment in Red Hill Cemetery here.
