Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Fredric G. Westling, 80, passed away on September 2, 1996 at his home after a long illness.

Born December 13, 1915 in New Jersey to Charles H. and Julia Kip Westling. Married Dorothy E. Westling on July 10, 1944 in New Jersey. Marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

Fredric retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a high priest in the LDS Church. He worked with the Scouts for many years and most recently worked as an aide on a Jordan School District bus with the handicapped children.

Survived by wife; children, Joan (David) Groom, Jean (Jerry) Gerrais, Mark (Sheril) Westling, Joy (Jerry) Greenwood, Ellen (Alan) Hardman, David (Carolyn) Westling, Jonathan Westling; twenty-eight grandchildren.

Preceded in death by son, Charles Henry Westling.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 5, 1996 at 12:00 p.m. in the Alta View Third Ward Chapel, 1850 East 8600 South. Friends may call at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 East Bengal Boulevard (7600 South), on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church on the day of the services from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
