Daniel "Danny" Grady, 56, a resident of Edgewater for 19 years, died of sudden heart failure Nov. 26 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mr. Grady was born June 15, 1951, in Washington, D.C., where he graduated from St. Anthony's High School.
He retired from Lucent Technologies. His interests included cooking, gardening, being out on the water, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Fran Grady, whom he married May 1, 1982; one son, Matthew Grady of Edgewater; three daughters, Megan and Sarah Grady, and Katie Gordon, all of Edgewater; one brother, Glenn Grady of Suwanee, Ga.; three sisters, Beverly Gauvreau of Fairfax, Va., Roni Alonzo of Millersville and Patti Seton of Riverdale. He was the brother of the late Larry Grady.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. November 29, 2007 at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 515 Loch Haven Road in Edgewater. Burial is private.
