The 54-year-old widow of noted Puerto Rican musical authority Fernando Callejo Ferrer, Mrs. Callejo Ferrer, known as "Trini", survived him by only one month. The couple had raised twelve children in their hometown of Manati, Puerto Rico, a scenic coastal resort, before coming to New York in the 1920's. After residing in Harlem and Brooklyn, they moved to Rutherford, NJ. Mrs. Callejo Ferrer's survivors included their daughter, Cecilia, who as "Cecilia Callejo" went on to appear in Latina roles in such Hollywood films as "Hoiday in Havana", "Outlaw Express", and "It's a Wonderful World".
