Glen entered the U. S. Army on Feb. 23, 1951, serving in the Korean War in Alaska. He was discharged on Feb. 3, 1953. He was honored to be named Korean War Veteran of the Year in 2002 and 2007.
He married Alta Mae Fiscus on April 25, 1954.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Richard, George, Chris, Alfred, Charles and Raymond; and sisters Hilda Papstein, Ruby Otteman and Elsie Patent.
