F. E. WAITS DIES
SHELDON — (Special)— Forrest Edwin Waits, 60, of Lamar, former Sheldon resident, died at four o’clock Thursday morning at the Barton County Memorial Hospital, Lamar, following a long illness.
He was born in Barton County, Sept. 9, 1906, the son of Edwin and Katherine Dunbar Waits. On March 3, 1926, he was married to Reba Irene Rose, who survives.
Survivors include his wife of the home in Lamar; his mother Mrs. Katherine Waits, also of Lamar; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Blades of Sheldon and Mrs. Bernice Welborn, Centralia; a brother, Leslie Waits of Sheldon; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at two o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the Beeny Funeral Home in Sheldon. The Rev. Dan Coad will officiate and interment will be in the Sheldon Cemetery.
Mrs. Gerald Cooper, soloist, will sing “I know Who Holds Tomorrow” and “Good Night and Good Morning,” accompanied by Mrs. T. O. Willhite, organist.
Pallbearers will be Bob Perry, Albert O’Neal, Art Stolz, Bill Davis, Dean Robinson and Wayne Taylor.
