Beth A. Kugler, 52, of Shippensburg, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in the Chambersburg Hospital. She was born March 20, 1960 in Chambersburg. Beth was a daughter of Nancy L. Lynch Hippensteel of Shippensburg and the late Barry R. Hippensteel. She was a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post #223, a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #2500 all in Shippensburg, a member of the Heavy Cruiser Club, Carlisle. Beth was dedicated to raising funds for veterans, cancer patients and research, and for many other community organizations. She was a 1978 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. Beth was currently employed by P.R. Hoffman Machine Products in Carlisle as a quality control specialist. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris J. "Flipper" Lynch. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Mark L. Kugler, two sons, Mark R. "Bobby" Kugler and his wife Sheila and Samuel R. Kugler all of Shippensburg, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Harold E. Yeager. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168 Cancer Fund, c/o treasurer, Marie Bonham, 130 W. King St., Shippensburg, PA 17257
