Hanes Services Held Saturday
Lloyd (Pop) Hanes aged 70, 500 North Star, El Dorado, died last night in Allen Memorial hospital, El Dorado.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Dunsford chapel with Dr. C. William Nichols, pastor of the First Christian church, officiating. Burial will be in Dunlap Cemetery.
Mr. Hanes was born Feb. 11, 1890 at Augusta, the son of Effie Carr Hanes and Ewell Hanes. He was married to Iona Dennett Jan. 20, 1915 at El Dorado. She survives. One son, Lawson, of El Dorado and a brother, Roy Hanes of Douglass also survive. A daughter Audine, preceded him in death in 1930.
Mr. Hanes moved to El Dorado in 1934. He had previously resided in Wichita.
